IEEE Day 2025 Celebration
On 12th October 2025, the IEEE Computer Society LU SB Chapter proudly celebrated IEEE Day 2025 at Leading University, Sylhet, Bangladesh. This year’s celebration reflected our community’s passion for innovation, collaboration, and the spirit of IEEE.
In preparation for this special day, our enthusiastic members dedicated a full week to decorating the venue, creating a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere. The celebration began with a cake-cutting ceremony, graced by our honorable Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mohammed Taj Uddin, who delivered a motivating speech highlighting the importance of technology and community engagement.
Following the opening ceremony, the event continued with engaging activities designed to foster teamwork, creativity, and fun. Members participated in a brainstorming quiz, pillow passing, and IEEE-themed bingo, which added excitement and energy to the day.
To honor our respected faculty members, we also organized two special segments — TechScreen and Detect the Future — offering a platform for insightful discussions and innovative thinking.
The entire celebration was filled with enthusiasm, laughter, and meaningful interaction, truly embodying the IEEE Day 2025 theme of advancing technology for humanity. Our members enjoyed every moment, strengthening the unity and spirit of the IEEE community at Leading University.
