IEEE DAY CELEBRATION 2025: Debugging Speedrun

IEEE Student Branch of Panimalar Engineering College, in association with IEEE, WIE, Computer Society, VTS, SSIT, CAS, and IIC, proudly organized an event titled “Debugging Speedrun” as part of the IEEE Day Celebration 2025 on 10.10.25 at 5 PM (IST). The event aimed to enhance participants’ programming and analytical skills through an exciting debugging competition. Participants were challenged to identify and fix errors in simple Python or C codes within the shortest possible time. The one who successfully debugged the code first was declared the winner. The activity encouraged logical thinking, coding proficiency, and problem-solving under time constraints while promoting a spirit of healthy competition and learning among students. The session witnessed active and enthusiastic participation, with students showcasing their technical expertise and quick decision-making abilities. The event was convened by Dr. S. Rajakumar, HOD/ECE, and coordinated by Mr. M. Arun, AP/ECE, along with student coordinators Shahana K, Vaishali S, and Vamika Rajesh. The winners are Pavitra, Mohanambal, Tharunika S. Nearly 40 participants attended the event.
