KSSEM Student Branch: IEEE Day 2025 Celebrations: Poster Nova-Poster making Competition

Objectives:
The Department of Electronics and Communication, KSSEM, in association with IEEE KSSEM Student Branch, organized a PosterNova-Poster making Competition event in celebration of IEEE Day 2025. This initiative aimed to encourage students to blend their technical knowledge with creative digital design skills, communicating how engineering and technology innovations can solve global challenges. The competition provided a platform to express ideas visually on the main IEEE Day theme.
Participants were encouraged to explore a variety of science-related themes such as “Smart City: Vision 2050” and “Cyber Security”. Through traditional art forms, students creatively interpreted these themes, highlighting the importance of science in shaping society and the world around us.
The event witnessed active participation from students across all semesters, who demonstrated an excellent blend of creativity, knowledge, and presentation.
The competition was Judged by prof. Mr. Ravikiran B A and prof. Dr. Arun Kumar M, after judging the event the results were as follows:
First Prize: Keerthana P from ECE dept.
Second Prize: B Sai Shraddha from ECE dept.
Ashika M from Civil dept.
