KSSEM IEEE Student Branch : IEEE DAY 2025 CELEBRATIONS “DUMB CHARADES”

Objective:
The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, KSSEM, in association with IEEE KSSEM Student branch organized an event as part of IEEE Day Celebrations on, “Dumb Charades” 10th October,2025.
The event was greatly enriched by the presence of Dr. Renuka V Tali, IEEE Branch Councilor for KSSEM Student Branch. The event was organized for the students from all departments.
1. Introduction
The Dumb Charades event was organized to bring out student’s creativity, communication skills, and team coordination in a fun and engaging way. Before the event began, all participants were briefed about the rules, regulations, and format to ensure a fair and well-organized competition. Each team consisted of four members, where one participant enacted while the others guessed the given clue within the allotted time. Participants were also reminded of the Do’s and Don’ts to maintain fairness and consistency throughout the event:
· Do’s: Use gestures, body movements, and facial expressions to convey clues.
· Don’ts: Avoid pointing at objects or people, lip-syncing, or making any verbal sounds during the performance.
This clear instruction helped participants feel confident and well-prepared, creating an engaging and energetic atmosphere for the competition. A total of 20 teams comprising around 80 students from multiple departments participated actively. The event was conducted within the duration of 2 hours i.e. 10:40 -12:40.
