The IEEE UAP Student Branch successfully organized an informative session titled “Workshop on IEEE vTools” on the occasion of IEEE DAY 2025 in collaboration with the IEEE UAP SB WIE AG. The workshop was aimed at empowering IEEE student members with the knowledge and skills required to efficiently manage branch operations using IEEE vTools, an essential online platform for IEEE volunteers.
The session was conducted by Md. Nahedul Islam, Chairperson of IEEE UAP Student Branch. He provided a detailed demonstration of IEEE vTools, focusing on its various modules such as Events, Officer Reporting, Branch reporting and OU Analytics, etc. Md. Nahedul Islam guided the participants through practical steps on how to create, update, and report events on the platform. The workshop highlighted the significance of vTools in event management, activity reporting, maintaining officer records, and submitting annual reports, thereby helping volunteers streamline administrative tasks effectively.
The session concluded with a Q&A segment where participants clarified their doubts and shared feedback. This workshop greatly enhanced the participants’ understanding of IEEE vTools and its practical applications, enabling them to contribute more efficiently to the branch’s success.
