The Eco-Bot Infosession, hosted by IEEE ENIS, successfully introduced Eco-Bot — the educational robot designed to make learning fun and sustainable! 🌍✨

During the session, participants discovered how Eco-Bot brings hands-on STEM activities to life for kids, operates on solar energy, and fosters environmental awareness. 💡

The event also showcased our mission to build more robots that empower schools, inspire creativity, and promote diversity and inclusion in technology. 

Eco-Bot: An Eco-Friendly Educational Robot Developed by IEEE ENIS SB

Eco-Bot is an innovative eco-friendly educational robot entirely developed by IEEE ENIS Student Branch members. Designed as a sustainable and accessible STEM tool, Eco-Bot introduces young students to robotics, renewable energy, and environmental awareness.

Powered by solar energy, the robot supports hands-on learning through interactive activities that teach the basics of electronics, sensors, mobility, and environmental responsibility. Its durable and modular design allows students to experiment with movement, obstacle detection, and simple automation, making it ideal for classrooms, STEM workshops, and awareness campaigns.

Eco-Bot is now actively used in pre-university outreach programs, where it helps:

• Make robotics learning fun and accessible for kids

• Encourage creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking

• Promote sustainability and green engineering concepts

• Support diversity and inclusion by reaching students of all backgrounds

The initiative reflects IEEE ENIS SB’s commitment to innovation, education, and social impact, with ongoing plans to scale Eco-Bot production so more schools and young learners can benefit.
