ABOUT THE EVENT :
The IEEE Computer Society Galgotias University Student Branch (IEEE CS GUSB) successfully organized an exclusive workshop titled “Azure Cloud and DevOps Essentials” on 14th October 2025, as part of IEEE Day celebrations. The session aimed to empower students with practical insights into modern cloud computing and DevOps methodologies. Conducted by Mr. Gaurav Pandey, a Cloud/DevOps Consultant at Microsoft, the workshop focused on the fundamentals of Microsoft Azure, the transformative capabilities of DevOps, and strategies to build, deploy, and scale applications using real-world tools. The event served as an excellent learning opportunity for attendees aspiring to explore cloud technologies and modern software deployment practices.

The workshop on “Azure Cloud and DevOps Essentials”, hosted by IEEE CS GUSB at Galgotias University on 14th October 2025, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students eager to enhance their technical proficiency in cloud and DevOps domains.
The expert speaker, Mr. Gaurav Pandey, shared valuable industry insights drawn from his experience at Microsoft, explaining core concepts of Microsoft Azure, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automation workflows. Through engaging demonstrations and interactive discussions, participants gained a strong understanding of how DevOps practices streamline software development and operations.
The two-hour session, held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, provided an enriching hands-on perspective on cloud scalability, deployment pipelines, and best practices for managing real-world applications.
