1. Introduction

The IEEE Computer Society Students Chapter of Jeppiaar Institute of Technology organized an online seminar titled “Cracking Your First IT Job: A Roadmap to Entering Top Tech Companies” on 15th October at 7 PM. The session was conducted as part of the IEEE Day celebrations, aiming to guide students in preparing for placements and achieving success in their first IT job interviews

2. Interactive session 

During the interactive session, students actively engaged with the speaker by asking questions related to interview experiences, career growth, and skill development. Mr. Heyram patiently clarified all their doubts and offered useful tips to overcome challenges during recruitment processes. The interaction created a positive and motivating environment, encouraging students to take their first steps toward a successful IT career.

Biography:

Mr. Heyram R. S., Member Technical Staff (Backend Developer) at Zoho Corporation. He’s a passionate speaker, web designer, and an active IEEE volunteer. He currently leads the website initiatives for IEEE Day 2025, IEEE Madras Young Professionals, and YESIST12.

Mr. Heyram has contributed to many national and international IEEE events and is known for mentoring students and sharing valuable career insights.
