UI/IX Design Contest 2025
The Department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE), in association with the IEEE Student Branch of HKBK College of Engineering, organized an Interdepartmental UI/UX design Contest on 13th October 2025 at ISE Seminar Hall.
The event began with an inaugural address in the presence of Dr. Syed Mustafa A, HoD & Professor, Department of ISE, HKBKCE.
The judging panel comprised:
- Prof. Khallikunnaisa, Associate Professor, Department of CSE, HKBKCE
- Prof. Ateeq Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Department of ISE, HKBKCE
A total of 12 teams (3 participants per team) representing various departments participated in the event. Each team developed and presented their design to the judges after preparing for 1:30 minutes.
The first round featured all 11 teams presenting their designs and presented to evaluators followed by open cross-questioning.
The second round shortlisted the top 5 teams based on creativity, clarity, argument strength, and originality.
The final round was an intense discussion focusing on “Creativity, Application, Maintenance of the design” after which the winners were declared.
Results:
- 1st Place: Team CSE (Abdul Muqeet, & Priyanshu Singh)
- 2nd Place: Team ISE (Saima khan, & Syeda tasneem)
- 3rd Place: Team ISE (Sania Fathima S, Mohammed Ayaan, & Abhishek Kumar)
The event was coordinated by Prof. Husna Sabhat, Prof. Ayesha, and Dr. Mohammad Aamir Almas, with student coordinators Md Talha Muneer, David Johnson, Syeda Raziqha Sultana, and Waiza Afrin M from ISE.
