Agenda

The IEEE Student Branch of Galgotias University, under the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (DEECE), organized a hands-on workshop titled “Bots & Bytes” on 14th October 2025 as part of the IEEE Day Celebration Week.

The session was conducted by Mr. Rakesh Roy and Mr. Aditya Gupta, both second-year B.Tech students and active IEEE members. The workshop introduced participants to the basics of Robotics and IoT, emphasizing practical learning through Arduino-based experiments and Tinkercad simulations.

The workshop covered fundamental concepts of microcontrollers, Arduino IDE usage, LED control, servo motor operations, and ultrasonic sensor interfacing. Participants also built a functional ultrasonic–LED circuit, gaining real-time experience in hardware and coding integration.

The event encouraged students to explore robotics independently and apply their creativity in technical problem-solving. The interactive nature of the session made learning engaging and impactful.

Aligned with IEEE Day 2025, the workshop supported SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting hands-on learning and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by fostering innovation among students.
