Senior Membership Upgrading Information Session
Am I eligible to become an IEEE Senior Member? What are the benefits of becoming an IEEE Senior Member? How do I apply to become and IEEE Senior Member?
This event shares with the participants the benefits of being an IEEE Senior Member, the requirements and the process to apply for it. This event also invites a recently elevated Senior Member to share his experience in the application process and what he perceives as the benefits of the IEEE Senior Membership to his career.
Student Members are invited to attend too as their period of Undergraduate Studies or Graduate Studies will count towards the 10 years of Professional Experience requirement.

Biography:
Dr. Kin-Choong Yow is a Professor at the University of Regina, Software Systems Engineering program. He was the Section Chair of the IEEE South Saskatchewan Section from 2022 to 2023.
