IEEE RAS ENET’Com SBC organized an informative TSYP RAS–VTS Challenge Info Session to present the details of the SmartFleet: Cooperative Delivery in a Simulated City competition, part of the IEEE TSYP 13 Technical Challenges. The session introduced participants to the challenge’s scope, emphasizing its focus on autonomous systems, intelligent transportation, and decentralized multi-agent control. Members learned about the competition’s phases, deliverables, and evaluation criteria, which include technical reports, simulation realism, coordination strategies, and communication modeling under 5G-inspired V2V constraints. The organizing team also explained the rules, important deadlines, and judging metrics while encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration between RAS and VTS members. The session concluded with a Q&A segment, allowing attendees to clarify details, form teams, and begin preparing their project concepts.
