Discover EMBS info session
The IEEE EMBS – PPU Student Chapter held an engaging introductory session titled “Discover EMBS” on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Activities Hall. The event attracted great participation and enthusiasm from students who were eager to learn more about the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS), its mission, goals, and the valuable opportunities it offers to members.
Throughout the session, attendees were introduced to the community’s vision and activities, and participated in inspiring discussions with faculty and administrative members. The event created a welcoming environment that encouraged students to connect, share ideas, and explore future collaboration opportunities within the EMBS community.

Medical disciplines and their relation to IEEE EMBS
During the session, Dr. Fadaa discussed the strong connection between various medical disciplines and the activities of IEEE EMBS. She explained how fields such as biomedical engineering, medical imaging, healthcare technology, and bioinformatics play a crucial role in advancing medical research and improving patient care. Dr. Fadaa highlighted how EMBS provides a platform for students and professionals to apply engineering principles to solve real-world medical problems, engage in interdisciplinary collaborations, and contribute to innovations in healthcare systems. She emphasized that participation in EMBS activities allows members to bridge the gap between engineering and medicine, fostering both technical skills and medical knowledge.
