ROBOVERSE
The IEEE Student Branch at MMMUT organized Roboverse’25, a multi-stage robotics event designed for first-year students to foster innovation, creativity, and hands-on technical learning. The event was conducted under the guidance of the Department of Electrical Engineering and IEEE Student Branch MMMUT with the objective of introducing freshmen to robotics design, programming, and sensor integration.
The event consisted of three stages:
-
Orientation & Workshop: Participants attended interactive sessions on bot construction, programming, and sensor interfacing. A 15-question online quiz assessed their understanding.
-
Assembly Round: Teams assembled their bots within a specified timeframe, adhering to given dimensions and safety norms. Inspection and validation were conducted by judges before proceeding.
-
Competition Rounds:
-
Round 1: Speed & Endurance Test — Tested the bot’s efficiency and stability on the arena track.
-
Round 2: Bomb Diffusion Task — Focused on arm mechanism and precision control.
-
Round 3: Obstacle Avoidance — Assessed autonomous navigation using ultrasonic sensors
