IEEE Day 2025 Celebration (Pitchcraft)
PitchCraft – The Ideathon and Hackathon Challenge, organized by the IEEE GTB4CEC Student Branch on 9th October 2025 at the GTB4CEC Auditorium, was one of the technical events of the IEEE Day 2025 celebrations. The event aimed to inspire innovation and problem-solving by encouraging students to convert creative ideas into practical technological solutions. It focused on enhancing participants’ design thinking, technical knowledge, and presentation skills, essential qualities for future engineers and entrepreneurs.
The competition followed a three-stage format, beginning with online idea submissions, followed by detailed project presentations, and concluding with a final offline showcase where the top 15 teams presented their prototypes before a panel of judges. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation with 260+ participants registering for the initial round across disciplines, displaying impressive creativity, teamwork, and technical skills.
With a judging panel comprising experienced faculty and technical experts, the top three teams were honored with cash prizes and certificates, while all finalists received recognition for their efforts. PitchCraft stood out as a vibrant blend of creativity, engineering, and innovation, successfully motivating students to think critically and design impactful solutions to real-world problems.
