IEEE Day 2025 Celebration (CodeQuest)
CodeQuest – Guess the Formula, organized by the IEEE GTB4CEC Student Branch on 9th October 2025, was an intellectually stimulating event held as part of the IEEE Day 2025 celebrations. Designed to test participants’ logical reasoning, analytical ability, and quick problem-solving skills, the event emphasized mental application of coding logic over actual execution. By combining teamwork, time-bound challenges, and a fun competitive spirit, CodeQuest provided an engaging platform for students to showcase their coding intuition and critical thinking.
The event consisted of three rounds that progressively increased in difficulty. The first round involved short logic-based questions, followed by more complex problems in loops and recursion for the second round, and finally, a live “raise-hand” quiz for the finalists. With around thirty participating teams of four members each, the competition was conducted under strict fair-play rules, ensuring transparency and excitement throughout.
CodeQuest proved to be one of the most dynamic events of IEEE Day, leaving participants with improved logical thinking, teamwork, and time management skills. It not only encouraged collaborative learning but also reinforced the value of structured problem-solving under pressure. The event truly embodied the IEEE spirit—advancing knowledge, innovation, and technology through creativity and collaboration.
