IEEE PES DAY QUIZ 2025
Event Objective:
The objective of the quiz was to celebrate IEEE Day 2025 by encouraging first-year students to enhance their knowledge of power and energy concepts while promoting active participation in IEEE PES activities.
Event Description:
On 7th October 2025, IEEE PES SBC RIT conducted the IEEE Day PES Quiz 2025, organized in collaboration with the IEEE PES Kerala Chapter. The quiz consisted of 30 multiple-choice questions designed to test participants’ understanding of electrical and energy-related topics. The event provided an engaging platform for first-year students to explore the technical aspects of the power and energy domain.
Event Outcome:
A total of 36 students participated in the offline quiz conducted at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RIT). The winners were:
Isha Mundathan (EEE S1) – 1st Prize
Keerthana V (EEE S1) – 2nd Prize
Sreehari R (EEE S1) – 3rd Prize
The event successfully promoted technical curiosity and active engagement among the new members of the IEEE community.
