IEEE STEM Workshop

The "Engineering a Better Future: Inspiring Students to Help Humanity" initiative received introductory-level funding to execute its plan. The initial planning phase aimed to conduct this TryEngineering event in collaboration with the local IEEE branch team in March, but unfortunately, due to unforeseen internal logistical inconveniences, the primary event date had to be postponed. Out of the total grant amount of $500 USD provided for this initiative, 60 precent of the funds were prudently utilized by the Lahore Section to procure 14 IEEE kits essential for the hands-on activity sessions and it is returned to the Lahore section for STEM activities. We proceeded with the successful execution of the main event using a portion of the remaining funds, having received an initial advance of 10% of the total grant on the event day to manage immediate logistics. The remaining balance of the grant is now expected to be disbursed upon the official submission and approval of this final report.

The "Engineering a Better Future: Inspiring Students to Help Humanity" STEM outreach program was executed with outstanding success on October 18, 2025, significantly surpassing its original objectives. The event, held at the prestigious Chand Bagh High School, engaged over 60 students in high-impact, hands-on activities centered on the intersection of engineering and societal problem-solving.

As Anees Ur Rehman was the Team Leader and Event granter for this IEEE STEM TryEngineering Project, he played the main in the event in planning to Implement management. He travelled 500 Km for this Event from his job location to make it happen. At the end the remarks for the Chand Bagh School for Anees was very Remarkable, Administration and Student were quite happy to attend this workshop. The School Principal requested to do another workshop for higher class students for guiding them about how to get admissions in good ranking Universities and also becoming an IEEE Member of IEEE.

The energy and enthusiasm displayed by the students, supported by the school administration and the dedication of the IEEE volunteer team, validated the project's success. This report details the preparation, execution, outcomes, financial reconciliation, and future continuity plan, culminating in an enthusiastic request from the school's leadership for an immediate continuation of this workshop series.
