Low-rank Adaptation of Pre-trained Deep Neural Networks

In celebration of IEEE Day 2025, the IEEE UPES Student Branch organized a Technical Webinar titled “Low-rank Adaptation of Pre-trained Deep Neural Networks.”

The session was delivered by Dr. Syed Shahnawazuddin, Assistant Professor, NIT Patna. The talk provided deep insights into the concept of low-rank adaptation in deep learning, exploring how pre-trained neural networks can be efficiently fine-tuned for various downstream tasks with reduced computational cost and enhanced performance.

The webinar was conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams on 15th October 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM IST, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from IEEE members, faculty, and students of UPES.
