Discussion with International Experts
On 14th March, 2025 IEEE Photonics Society Nanjing Section Chapter and IEEE Photonics Society Student Chapter of Zhejiang Ocean University jointly hosted a meeting with international experts was held to discuss activities related to IEEE, focusing on fostering collaboration in advancing research and innovation in the specific fields, e.g., photonics, renewable energy and AI. The discussion highlighted upcoming IEEE initiatives, strategies for enhancing member engagement, and opportunities for joint projects and knowledge exchange. Participants emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary approaches and global partnerships in addressing emerging challenges. Key outcomes included plans for organizing workshops, expanding outreach in underrepresented regions, and leveraging IEEE platforms to promote cutting-edge research and professional development
