As part of IEEE Day, IEEE SB RIT organized a session titled “Demystifying APIs: A Beginner’s Guide” with Mr. Rudain Shiyas on 11th October 2025 . Conducted via Google Meet, the session introduced participants to the fundamentals of APIs, their role in connecting applications, and key concepts such as request methods, response codes, and API keys. A live demo using a weather API showcased how to fetch real-time data using Python, providing attendees with practical insight into API integration and usage.
