The IEEE Systems Council BUBT Student Branch Chapter is honored to serve as an official club partner for HackerOne Bug Hunt 2026, organized by Bug Bounty Community Bangladesh. This partnership provides our members with a unique opportunity to engage in one of the most prestigious cybersecurity events in Bangladesh, gaining hands-on experience in vulnerability discovery and ethical hacking.

HackerOne Bug Hunt 2026 is a premier cybersecurity event designed to combine competitive hacking, expert knowledge-sharing, and networking in a real-world security environment. The event brings together hackers, cybersecurity enthusiasts, researchers, and professionals for a thrilling challenge where participants simulate real-world bug bounty scenarios.

As a club partner, IEEE Systems Council BUBT SB Chapter will facilitate member participation by conducting preparatory sessions, guiding participants through techniques for web and application security, and coordinating group participation during the competition. This initiative aims to empower students and members with the skills, confidence, and exposure needed to excel in ethical hacking and cybersecurity.

Participants can expect:

  • A 12-hour competitive hackathon with 50 qualifiers and 1 target scope.
  • Opportunities to learn from top cybersecurity experts and industry leaders.
  • Networking with participants from Bangladesh and around the world.
  • Recognition through certificates, prizes, and special rewards for early bug reporters.
