Sensor Fusion and Tracking - An In Person Workshop with Dr. Pat Williamson | Mathworks
Overview
Join the Mathworks, Association of Old Crows, and IEEE AESS/SPS for a private hands-on workshop session. MathWorks experts will walk you through a series of online exercises. These guided exercises will give you the opportunity to write and run your own code using the Sensor Fusion and Tracking Toolbox to track space debris. The focus is on showing participants the basics for setting up estimation filters, visualization, and tracking. Attendees will need to bring their laptop to participate.
After the workshop, join us for networking and refreshments.
Highlights
- Sensor fusion and tracking overview
- Basics of sensor fusion and tracking to level set and sampling of common tracking workflows and applications
- Hands-on coding exercises on MATLAB Online:
- Getting started: visualize noisy target detections
- Handle a single noisy target with a constant-velocity Kalman estimation filter
- Handle multiple noisy targets with a global nearest neighbor multi-object tracker
- Network with other AOC members in the area
