Capture the Flag (CTF) Training Session
The IEEE Student Branch, DA-IICT organized an engaging Capture the Flag (CTF) training session in collaboration with Cyberpedia, one of India’s leading cybersecurity training institutes. The session was conducted by Mr. Smit Paresh, a Security Analyst at Invesics Cyber Forensics, who provided participants with valuable insights into the world of ethical hacking and cybersecurity.
Mr. Paresh guided attendees through a systematic, step-by-step approach to solving CTF challenges and demonstrated practical techniques used in real-world scenarios. To enhance the learning experience, he hosted a live CTF on his own network, allowing participants to gain hands-on exposure to cybersecurity problem-solving.
The session concluded with Mr. Paresh sharing a curated list of learning resources and platforms for participants to continue practicing and honing their skills independently. The event proved to be a highly informative and interactive experience, sparking great interest among students in the field of cybersecurity.

Mr. Smit Paresh is a Security Analyst at Invesics Cyber Forensics, where he specializes in cybersecurity operations and digital forensics. He is also associated with Cyberpedia, one of India’s leading cybersecurity training institutes, where he trains students and professionals in ethical hacking and Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions.
