Causal XAI Workshop II Advances, Applications and Intersections
Causal XAI Workshop II aims to continue fostering this growing community, showcasing recent advances, highlighting new applications, and stimulating interdisciplinary dialogue. This year, we introduce a special focus on the intersection between Causal XAI and Generative AI, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), as one of several key themes that will be addressed.
The workshop will provide a forum for presenting new research, debating foundational issues, sharing tools and datasets, and encouraging critical reflection on the societal and ethical implications of causal XAI. Participants will have the chance to network and hear invited speakers who are experts on XAI. There is also the opportunity to display a poster (abstract submission required). This will be a free in-person meeting, including refreshments and lunch.
We invite contributions on a broad range of topics including, but not limited to:
- Foundations of Causal XAI
- Explainability techniques grounded in causality
- Human-centred and domain-specific causal explanations
- Evaluation metrics for causal XAI
- Trust, transparency, and accountability in causal models
- Human-in-the-loop and hybrid intelligence systems
- Causal XAI and Generative AI (e.g LLMs)
