The IEEE GRSS Hyderabad Chapter, in collaboration with the Department of CSE, IIITDM Kurnool and IEEE Ananthapur Subsection, is organizing a Winter School Program on "Intelligent Remote Sensing and Geospatial Analytics" during 17–18 November 2025 at the Tungabhadra Seminar Hall, IIITDM Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.

The objective of this Winter School is to introduce participants to emerging research directions and applications in remote sensing, geospatial data analysis, and AI-driven spatial technologies. The program aims to bridge the gap between theoretical understanding and real-world applications by combining concepts from satellite imaging, geospatial intelligence, and onboard AI systems for drones.

The sessions will be delivered by eminent speakers and researchers from academia and industry, focusing on topics such as:

• Land Use and Land Cover Mapping

• Earth Observation Systems and Data Processing

• AI and Machine Learning for Remote Sensing Applications

• Onboard AI for Drones and Autonomous Mapping

• Open-Source Tools and Datasets for Geospatial Analytics

The Winter School is open to research scholars, faculty members, and professionals working in areas of geospatial technology, data science, environmental monitoring, and AI applications in remote sensing.
