“Women in AI and Quantum: Needs and Support"
The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Tunisia Affinity Group organized an interactive workshop in collaboration with IEEE SIGHT Tunisia Section at ATIC. The event was designed as a debate between two groups of members on the theme “Women in AI and Quantum: Needs and Support.”
Participants discussed the current challenges, opportunities, and barriers faced by women in Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing, emphasizing the importance of mentorship, equal access, and professional growth.
The debate encouraged critical thinking and communication, while promoting awareness about the importance of inclusion in emerging technologies. The event was honored by the presence of Baha Eddine Hammou, IEEE Region 8 WIE Representative, who shared inspiring insights and highlighted ongoing global efforts supporting women in advanced technology fields.
