The IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society Student Branch Chapter, College of Engineering Chengannur, organized “IoFusion – A Hands-on Workshop on Arduino” from 21st to 23rd October 2025, conducted daily from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

 
The three-day workshop was designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of Arduino programming and hardware interfacing, fostering practical knowledge in IoT and embedded systems. The sessions were mentored by Mr. Athul K. Anil, Student Mentor, who guided the participants through step-by-step circuit building, coding, and real-time project demonstrations.
 
Throughout the workshop, students gained hands-on experience in working with various sensors, actuators, and microcontroller components, enabling them to understand how hardware and software integrate in IoT applications. A total of 27 students actively participated in this session and majority of them were first years.
 
The event was highly interactive and informative, with participants expressing that the sessions helped them build confidence in prototyping and embedded development. Overall, IoFusion served as an excellent platform for students to explore Arduino-based innovations and strengthen their technical foundation in electronics and circuit design.
