Biography:
Dr. Piyush Kumar Pareek is a distinguished academician and innovator currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, as well as the Intellectual Property Rights Cell at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Yelahanka, Bengaluru. With a robust academic foundation comprising a B.E., M.Tech., Ph.D., and Postdoctoral research in Computer Science, Dr. Pareek brings over two decades of experience in research, teaching, and innovation.
He is a certified Patent Agent with the Government of India and has been recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists in both 2024 and 2025. A Fellow of IETE and Senior Member of IEEE, Dr. Pareek is deeply committed to fostering a culture of invention and intellectual property awareness in academic institutions. His interdisciplinary expertise spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, and innovation management, with a strong emphasis on translating ideas into impactful technological solutions.
