IEEE Computer Society ISTIC Student Branch, in collaboration with the IEEE Computer Society ENIT Student Branch and IEEE POLYTECH SB, hosted IEEEXtreme 19.0, a global 24-hour programming competition that encourages collaboration, problem-solving, and technical innovation. The event brought together passionate students for a full day of coding, teamwork, and shared enthusiasm for technology.

Participant Reception and Opening Session
The event began on October 24 at 6:00 PM with participant arrival and welcome at the Youth Center of Manouba. Check-in and opening remarks took place between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, where participants were introduced to the schedule, competition rules, and key objectives. This opening session helped set an energetic and motivated atmosphere for the night ahead.

Networking and Social Activities
From 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, participants enjoyed a coffee break and informal networking. This moment encouraged students from ISTIC, ENIT, and other institutions to interact, exchange experiences, and build new professional connections.
Following that, from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM, teambuilding activities were organized, including card games, basketball, FIFA matches, and Loup Garou These activities reinforced collaboration among participants.

Dinner and Movie Screening
At 10:00 PM, a dinner break was provided to allow everyone to refuel and relax. A movie screening followed, maintaining a friendly and engaging atmosphere while participants prepared mentally for the challenge ahead.

Competition Setup
At 11:20 PM, organizers assisted the teams with accessing and setting up their workspaces on the official IEEEXtreme competition platform. This ensured that all participants were ready and fully prepared when the competition began.

Competition Start and Overnight Progress
The competition officially started at 1:00 AM. Teams worked collaboratively to solve algorithmic challenges of varying complexity. The organizing committee provided continuous support to help participants stay focused and comfortable.
A coffee break at 3:00 AM offered a welcomed pause for participants to refresh and regain energy before continuing with the problem-solving phase.

Closing and Breakfast
Around 6:00 AM, breakfast was served, giving participants a final moment to relax and reflect on their experience. Closing remarks were then delivered, acknowledging the effort, perseverance, and enthusiasm shown by all teams throughout the event.

Conclusion
IEEEXtreme 19.0 at the Youth Center of Manouba was a successful and enriching experience. It fostered teamwork, technical skill-building, and meaningful social exchange. The collaboration between the ISTIC and ENIT Computer Society Chapters strengthened the student community and reaffirmed the importance of IEEE initiatives in inspiring innovation and academic growth.
