AI and Geospatial Technology
In today’s data-driven world, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Geospatial Technology is revolutionizing the way we analyze and interpret Earth observation data. To provide valuable insights into this emerging interdisciplinary domain, the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) Student Branch Chapter, Anna University (SBC81361E), is organizing a guest lecture on “AI and Geospatial Technology.”
The session will be delivered by Dr. Sriram Subramanian, Assistant Professor & Canada Research Chair, School of Computer Science, Carleton University, Canada. Dr. Subramanian will share his expertise on how AI-driven models are transforming geospatial data processing, remote sensing analysis, and environmental applications.
This lecture aims to inspire students, researchers, and professionals to explore AI-enabled geospatial solutions for addressing real-world challenges such as urban planning, disaster management, and climate monitoring.
