 Event Overview
SiliconSprint was a premier virtual electronics hackathon organized as a successful collaboration between the IEEE Student Branches of NITK and RV College of Engineering. Designed around a competitive Analog and Digital tracks format, this multi-day event challenged participants to leverage their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions. The core objective was for teams to tackle real-world electronics challenges across two distinct technical tracks, emphasizing practical application and competitive design.

Knowledge Sharing and Preparation
The event was structured to test foundational and advanced concepts in electrical and electronics engineering. The primary technical domains covered were: Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, and General Aptitude/Problem Solving. This focus ensured that participants, especially those from the target audience, were engaged in a meaningful test of their classroom knowledge and practical design thinking.

 Preliminary Quiz and Game Mechanics
A preliminary online assessment was conducted to filter eligible teams for the main hackathon. This quiz was hosted on the Unstop platform and covered fundamentals across the core domains (Analog, Digital, and Aptitude). The overwhelming interest resulted in an initial turnout of 102 registered teams, showcasing high enthusiasm from the electronics community. The main hackathon then split participants into specific tracks to focus their expertise.

 Participation and Engagement
SiliconSprint witnessed highly enthusiastic participation, primarily targeting and drawing from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year B.Tech students. The event's virtual, collaborative nature and challenging dual-track theme captivated the teams, who demonstrated high levels of technical ingenuity and intense problem-solving skills across the three days. The target audience successfully engaged in a high-pressure environment, gaining valuable experience in competitive design and execution.
