Description of the Event

The IEEE AESS Tunisia Section Mentorship & Innovation Workshop 2025 is a flagship two-day event organized by the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) Tunisia Chapter in collaboration with the IEEE Tunisia Section, academic partners, and industry sponsors. The event will be on 07 February 2026 in Tunis, Tunisia, and will focus on fostering innovation, technical excellence, and community engagement in the fields of aerospace systems, avionics, signal processing, and embedded systems.

Overview and Objectives

This workshop aims to create a dynamic platform for students, researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, gain mentorship, and explore the latest developments in AESS-related technologies. It seeks to bridge the gap between academia and industry, while also promoting AESS membership growth and capacity building within the IEEE Region 8 community.

Through technical sessions, mentoring programs, and innovation challenges, participants will be empowered to advance their research and career development in aerospace and embedded systems engineering.

Main Components of the Event

1. Technical Workshops and Hands-on Sessions

   • Focused on aerospace systems, embedded platforms, communication systems, and autonomous robotics.

   • Delivered by AESS experts and industry professionals.

   • Participants will gain practical skills through demonstrations and guided experiments.

2. Mentorship and Career Development Program

   • Dedicated sessions pairing students and young professionals with AESS mentors and technical leaders.

   • Focus on professional growth, research direction, and networking opportunities within AESS.
