 Nexus – Connecting Research to Technology and Society is a two-day innovation-focused event 
scheduled for 24–25 November 2025 at Acropolis Institute of Technology & Research, Indore. It is organized 
by the IEEE Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology (SIGHT) (SBA04301S) in collaboration with 
the IEEE Acropolis Student Branch  and IEEE MP Section SIGHT Chapter and aligned with the IEEE SIGHT 
initiative.

Expected to welcome 180–200 participants, including research students, volunteers, faculty, and local 
changemakers, Project Nexus promotes the translation of academic inquiry into actionable, ethical 
technology. 
By bridging research and society, the event strengthens IEEE SIGHT’s humanitarian tech mission and fosters 
inclusive development through youth innovation.

This event is to be organised under 2025 IEEE SIGHT Group Activity Initiative which is sponsered by IEEE SIGHT Committee and IEEE Humanitarian Technologies.
