Coding Face Off - Arrival'25
The first technical event of the fest, “Coding Face-Off,”. It was one of the most intellectually engaging competitions designed to test participants’ logical thinking and coding proficiency through multiple timed rounds.
The event was structured as follows:
-
Round 1 (Elimination Round – 30 minutes):
-
Teams were provided with a set of beginner-to-intermediate level coding problems.
-
The goal was to solve as many questions as possible within 30 minutes.
-
The top-performing teams qualified for the next round based on accuracy and time efficiency.
-
Round 2 (Advanced Elimination Round – 30 minutes):
-
The complexity of questions increased in this round, focusing on algorithmic thinking and optimization.
-
Teams competed to maintain consistency and problem-solving speed.
-
Only the highest-scoring teams advanced to the final round.
-
Round 3 – The Face-Off (20 minutes):
-
In the final round, a unique twist was introduced — members of the same team competed against each other, making it a true “face-off.”
-
Each participant was given a set of short, challenging coding tasks to solve individually.
-
This round tested not just coding ability, but also pressure handling, quick thinking, and adaptability.
-
The best individual performers were declared the winners of the Coding Face-Off.
