The Capture the Flag (CTF) event was one of the most challenging and intellectually stimulating competitions of ARRIVAL’25, designed to test participants’ cybersecurity skills through a real-time, problem-solving environment. Conducted over a duration of 12 hours, the event took place on a dedicated online platform specifically developed for this competition. Participants competed in teams, navigating through a series of tasks based on cryptography, web exploitation, reverse engineering, and system vulnerabilities. Each challenge contained hidden “flags” — secret codes or clues — that participants had to uncover using their technical knowledge, analytical skills, and logical reasoning.

Throughout the 12-hour event, teams showcased remarkable persistence and teamwork, working through increasingly difficult problems that mirrored real-world cyberattack and defense scenarios. The platform ensured fairness and security, automatically tracking submissions and live progress. The event received enthusiastic participation from students across multiple branches, many of whom stayed engaged late into the night, determined to secure every flag. The CTF not only provided participants with a thrilling competitive experience but also reinforced the practical applications of the concepts introduced during the Cyber Session, making it one of the most memorable and educational highlights of ARRIVAL’25.
