IEEE Orientation 2025 - CS
The first day of the IEEE MSIT Orientation 2025 began with the introduction of the IEEE Computer Society (CS) chapter. This session aimed to familiarize freshers with the role of CS in promoting computing innovation, technical knowledge, and development skills. Students were introduced to various opportunities offered by the chapter, including coding workshops, hackathons, industry-driven training programs, and research-oriented activities. The session helped new members understand the pathways to grow in software development, competitive coding, AI/ML, and emerging technologies.

Agenda
The session opened with a warm welcome by the IEEE MSIT team, followed by a brief overview of the Computer Society chapter and its significance. They also highlighted success stories, projects, and internship pathways for students in the computing domain. The orientation concluded with an interactive Q&A session where freshers cleared their doubts regarding membership, events, and opportunities.
