The IEEE ComSoc Technical Chapter of the University of Chile held an organizational meeting to review administrative progress and formalize its leadership team. The Chapter confirmed the incorporation of Héctor as a new member, completing its directive composed of Santiago, Diego, Erik, Vicente, and Héctor. Discussions included advancing the official IEEE recognition process, organizing an upcoming in-person meeting, and planning a welcome talk. The Chapter also proposed presenting a Minor in Cybersecurity to the Department of Electrical Engineering (DIE) and considered participation in an external event. Additionally, plans were made to publish a social media post to promote the Chapter’s activities.
