Topic:

Agentic AI in Action: A Practical Approach to Intelligent Agents

Mr. DHANUSH, proud 4th Year student of ISE Dept, RVITM, Batch 2022, Data Science Intern, Honeywell, Bengaluru.

Biography:

I’m K.B. Dhanush, a B.E. Information Science & Engineering student at RV Institute of Technology and Management, Bengaluru, passionate about applying AI, computer vision, and automation to solve real-world problems.

I enjoy building AI-powered systems that connect theory with real impact. Some of my key projects include:

ChefMate – an AI-powered smart cooking assistant that guides users through recipes using voice interaction and intelligent planning.

AutoEval – an automated handwritten answer sheet evaluator using OCR and a Siamese Neural Network for accurate scoring.

Real-Time Driver Drowsiness Detection – a computer vision system using YOLOv11 and OpenCV to detect fatigue and issue live alerts.

I completed a Research Internship at AYTASENSE Technologies, where I worked on Iris–Pupil Ratio Detection for eye metric analysis, contributing to algorithm development and model optimization in computer vision.

I’m skilled in Python, Java, and C, with experience across TensorFlow, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenCV, and Streamlit, and familiar with MERN Stack and Google Colab for prototyping.

Beyond academics, I’ve served as Treasurer of IEEE Student Branch RVITM, Student Instructor at ALT Stratus Club, and organized national-level hackathons.

My goal is to grow as an AI Engineer and Researcher, developing intelligent, real-time systems that make human–machine interaction smoother and more meaningful.

Agentic AI in Action: A Practical Approach to Intelligent Agents The workshop introduced students to modern Agentic AI, covering ML and DL basics, Transformers, embeddings, and the fundamentals of AI agents. Participants built hands-on projects including a single-shot agent, a ReAct reasoning agent, and a simple multi-agent system. The session combined clear theory with guided coding to help students understand how intelligent agents reason, plan, and act. 5.58 MiB
