IEEE Day Celebration – Sponsored Showcase & WIE Community Launch
This event was held as part of the global IEEE Day celebration, bringing together students, sponsors, and IEEE members to highlight innovation and community engagement.
During the event, several sponsors attended and interacted with students, exploring a variety of creative projects and inventions developed by IEEE members. The day also featured the official launch of the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) community — a global IEEE affinity group dedicated to supporting, empowering, and advancing women in engineering and technology.
The celebration provided a platform for students to present their ideas, network with sponsors, and learn more about the opportunities available within IEEE and WIE. It marked an important milestone for strengthening collaboration, encouraging innovation, and expanding the involvement of women in engineering fields.
