The IEEE Reliability Society – SEC Student Branch Chapter of Sri Sairam Engineering College successfully organized an engaging online event
titled “Introduction to Intelligent Systems: AI and ML Basics” on 9th November 2025. The main objective of the session was to introduce students to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, helping them understand their applications, industry relevance, and career prospects in today’s technology-driven world. The event was conducted virtually, enabling students from various departments to participate. The speakers, Dharshini S (AIDS, II Year) and Sandhiya S (IoT, II Year), delivered informative and well-structured presentations covering the core concepts, advancements, and real-world use cases of intelligent systems. The session also featured an interactive quiz and Q&A segment, encouraging participants to engage actively and test their understanding of AI and ML concepts.

Certificates of Participation were distributed to all attendees, while Certificates of Appreciation and mementos were presented to the speakers for their valuable contribution. Additionally, quiz winners were recognized and awarded certificates for their outstanding performance. The event was efficiently coordinated by Shahistha Farheen I (II Year / ECE) along with the support of the staff coordinators, whose constant guidance and encouragement played a key role in the event’s success. The collective efforts of the organizing team ensured a smooth, insightful, and impactful session that provided students with a deeper understanding of intelligent systems and their growing significance in modern technology.
