EcoThoughts Day 3
The EcoThoughts Bootcamp commenced at 9:00 AM with an engaging opening ceremony. The event began with welcoming words from the sponsor, followed by addresses from the IEEE SB Chair and the PES XPELS Chair. All participating teams were presented and checked in.
Following the ceremony, the poster session took place. During this segment, jurors visited each team’s stand to review their projects, evaluate their concepts, and ask insightful questions. This interactive session allowed participants to showcase their ideas and receive valuable feedback.
Afterward, attendees enjoyed a lunch break, giving everyone time to relax and connect before the next activity.
The afternoon continued with a lively treasure hunt, where all teams competed in a fun and energetic environment. The activity fostered teamwork, creativity, and enthusiasm among participants.
Once the treasure hunt concluded, the pre-selection results were announced, determining which teams would proceed to the next stage. The selected teams then participated in the ideas pitching session, presenting their concepts directly in front of the jurors for final evaluation.
As the bootcamp drew to a close by , the Best Ambassador Award was announced, recognizing outstanding dedication and representation. Finally, the winners of the EcoThoughts Bootcamp were revealed, concluding the event on a celebratory note by 5 pm.
