Startup Office Hour with Dr. Chris Klaus
The Startup Office Hour session with Dr. Chris Klaus, CEO of Fusen World, provided LAU students with an exceptional opportunity to engage directly with one of the most influential figures in university-based innovation and entrepreneurship. Dr. Klaus—best known as the driving force behind Create-X at Georgia Tech, one of the world’s most successful university startup incubators—shared his extensive experience as a founder, investor, and leader in the global startup ecosystem.
During the meeting, Dr. Klaus discussed the transformative power of student-driven innovation, offering insights into what it takes to launch a startup during college, how to recognize high-impact ideas, and the entrepreneurial mindset required to turn early concepts into scalable companies.
He also highlighted the mission of Fusen World, an initiative aimed at empowering young innovators worldwide, and explained how Lebanese students can access mentorship, resources, and future opportunities through this global platform.
The session featured an engaged Q&A segment, allowing students to seek direct guidance on entrepreneurship, startup funding, technology trends, and personal career development. The speaker concluded by encouraging participants to prepare for future collaborative opportunities with Fusen World and related entrepreneurship programs.
