InnovateHER: Startup and Design Thinking Workshop for Girls
“InnovateHER” is a one-day interactive workshop targeted at school and pre-university girls. The program introduces the design thinking process—Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test—through real-life examples. Participants will identify community or campus problems and work in teams to create innovative solutions using simple prototyping tools. Expert mentors from IEEE WIE and IEEE Computer Society will guide them through startup basics, idea validation, pitching skills, and presentation of solutions. The session concludes with group presentations and recognition certificates.
