RETROFITTING SWITCHGEAR AND UPS BATTERIES FOR THE PETRO CHEMICAL INDUSTRY
Merry Christmas Houston PES! This will be our last in-person meeting of the year, it will be a good one. We will have Andrew Miraldi in town from Illinois. He is a long time working group chair for IEEE, a technical expert and researcher in battery technology. This technical presentation will be on sizing and economics of replacing VLA, VRLA, NiCad, etc. stationary batteries with Sodium Metal Chloride batteries, something that is being done a lot in plants here in the Houston area.
Again this will be in-person at the Cannon on Brittmoore. All attendees will receive a continuing education certificate for one (1) PDH. And as always, join us afterwards for a networking happy hour at The Powder Keg Bar next door.
