New Developments in Robotics: Robots That Feel Human Emotions
In recent years, the evolution of generative AI has brought robotics into a new and unprecedented phase. With AI-driven autonomous decision-making and enhanced environmental adaptability, the potential for robots to coexist with and support humans has expanded dramatically. In this lecture, we will have the opportunity to observe the Guardian Robot Project at RIKEN, and we will be introduced to research on next-generation robots that accurately understand human intentions and situations, and adaptively respond and act accordingly.
