ETC: Weekly Meeting
Greetings and Salutations!
If you are new, welcome! If you are returning, great to see you again! We, here at ETC (previously EREC), are excited to bring you another semester of learned and applied technology skills to our local public library. From learning what circuits are, breadboarding, coding, designing and populating a printed circuit board (PCB), learning about databases, and even creating IT infrastructure, we are excited to work with you on your journey through this technology laden world.
We have three divisions:
- Beginners (Tinker Squad) - if you have never worked with circuits or code, you are welcome to start here! We'll teach you about Play-Doh, electrons, logic, bits and bytes, and so much more!
- Intermediate (Audion Assemblers) - if you have some circuits and coding experience, we would like to see you thrive here. From coding electric cars, modeling in computer aided design (CAD), to creating little video games, there's a lot to offer in this division.
- Advanced (Fabrication Battalion) - you are the bleeding edge of learning by applying your vast skills to solve problems. From creating a hand-held console, web applications, database management, and much more, you'll craft incredibly creative and clever solutions to never ending problems.
We welcome all who are technologically curious! Please remember: we are here to help you. You can join at any experience level; from never having touched coding or creating hardware to a technology guru, we want to help you grow on your educational journey.
