"Brick by Brick" LEGO Workshop & Year-End Gathering
“Brick by Brick”, a hands-on LEGO creativity workshop and year-end social event. Participants will engage in simple, fun LEGO-building challenges designed to promote creativity, problem-solving, and light interaction in a relaxed environment. This workshop provides a welcoming space for students to unwind, explore creative thinking, and connect with peers and WIE members before the winter break.

Biography:
Nethmi Hettiarachchi is a third-year PhD candidate in cybersecurity at the University of New Brunswick (UNB), Canada. Since 2023, she works as a research assistant at the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity (CIC) and serves as a graduate teaching assistant at UNB. Nethmi holds a bachelor's degree in software engineering and a master's degree in cybersecurity from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). She is an active member of WIE–New Brunswick, dedicated to empowering women in engineering and technology.
