Biography:

Dr. Ashish Kumar Singhal (SMIEEE, LMSESI) is a dynamic, research-driven academic leader with expertise spanning Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, renewable energy systems, industrial automation, and artificial intelligence. Known for his visionary leadership and commitment to academic excellence, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to build high-performance academic environments, foster innovation, and mentor young engineers toward impactful careers.

He currently serves as Group Head (Dean) at the Sagar Institute of Science Technology (SISTec Group), Bhopal, where he mentors the Department of Electrical Engineering and leads the university’s Research and Development initiatives. Prior to this, he served as Associate Professor and Head, Department of Electrical Engineering at SISTec-E, where he played a pivotal role in transforming the department into one of the highest-performing units in the institution.

During his tenure as Head of Department, Dr. Singhal implemented forward-looking academic strategies, achieving 100% placement for Electrical Engineering graduates every year since 2019—an exceptional milestone in the region. He has been a key coordinator for NBA Accreditation, faculty development programs (FDP), and short-term training programs (STTP), helping elevate the department's academic stature and compliance standards.
