BMSCE IEEE PES AND SC- Sensors Enclave 2025
As part of Sensors Week 2025, BMSCE IEEE PES and Sensors Council successfully organized Sensors Enclave, a high-energy 24-hour hardware hackathon held on 15th and 16th November 2025. The event took place across CR 214 and CR 215, PJA Block, 2nd Floor, bringing together talented young innovators to ideate, build, and demonstrate impactful hardware solutions. The theme for this edition was IGNITIA, symbolizing the spark of creativity and technical brilliance that participants brought to life.
A total of 17 teams comprising 62 participants competed in the challenge. The hackathon opened with an enthusiastic inaugural ceremony, marking the beginning of an intense creativity-driven sprint. Following this, teams immediately began brainstorming, designing, and prototyping hardware solutions aligned with the event theme. Participants were provided with food, sleeping bags, and dedicated rest areas, ensuring comfort and support throughout the 24-hour innovation marathon.technology, smart systems, and resource optimization.

The event concluded with a closing and prize distribution ceremony, where teams showcased their prototypes and the judges provided insightful feedback. The top three winning teams were:
1st Place (₹15,000): Team Sensei - Wamika, Shashwath, Vikramjeet, Adarsh 2nd Place (₹10,000): Team Ohm My God - Poorvi, Likith, Chinmay, Atyab 3rd Place (₹5,000): Team BroCode - Prathvin, Nikhil, Nithaneshwar, Pavanaj The hackathon was supported by generous sponsors — ThatBakerGirl, Eggsy, and Tazish — whose contributions significantly enhanced the participant experience.
Conclusion: Sensors Enclave, conducted under the banner of Sensors Week 2025, stood as a remarkable celebration of creativity, teamwork, and engineering excellence. The event not only ignited fresh ideas but also empowered students to transform concepts into functional, real-world hardware prototypes, embodying the true spirit of innovation at BMSCE.
Impact Made
Sensors Enclave created a meaningful and long-lasting impact on both the participants and the organising community as part of Sensors Week 2025.
For Participants:
● They gained practical hands-on experience in hardware development, engaging in the full cycle from idea generation to prototyping and real-time implementation.
● Working within the theme IGNITIA encouraged participants to explore how sensors and embedded systems can address modern technical and societal challenges.
● The 24-hour collaborative environment cultivated teamwork, peer learning, creative problem-solving, and time-bound innovation, helping students grow as engineers and innovators.
● Exposure to expert judges and feedback sessions provided valuable insights into industry expectations, scalability, and sustainability in hardware solutions.
